Upper School - Rigorous and Relevant
The Upper School (Grades 9-12) environment strives to build a community of learners who think independently and act responsibly in a global society, by developing each student's academic, ethical, social, creative, and athletic potential.
The curriculum that you experience will be both rigorous and relevant, and will thoroughly prepare you for the challenge of college-level academic life. Alongside dedicated faculty members, you will find yourself in interesting Harkness discussions or solving chemical equations using Smartboard technology or improving your public speaking skills.
Chase has a culture of involvement which encourages each student to get involved in a variety of different activities across a broad spectrum of academic, co-curricular, extra-curricular, community service and social opportunities. In all of these activities students develop and practice their leadership skills.
Dr. Anna Carew-Miller, Director of College Counseling: "Year after year, Chase students are accepted to the most selective colleges and programs in the country—a testament to the strength of our curriculum and the excellence of our students. Our alumni continue to tell us how essential their Chase education was in thoroughly preparing them for academic and professional life."
