Annual Giving

Philanthropy is an important tradition at Chase Collegiate School. The costs of educating Chase’s 470 students are not covered by tuition alone and unrestricted gifts allow Chase to provide life-changing experiences to every Chase student.

What does a powerful Annual Fund mean for Chase?

It ensures that:

• The day to day quality of a Chase education is preserved and protected.
• Our academic program, athletic and artistic programs not only remain strong, but are enhanced to benefit each and every child enrolled at Chase.
• Financial assistance is available to enroll the most qualified students.

How much am I expected to donate to the Annual Fund?

Every dollar is important and every donor counts. Gifts of all sizes are welcome, regardless of size, and we hope that you participate every year. Each student receiving a Chase education relies on the support and generosity of alumni, parents, parents of alumni, grandparents and friends of the Chase community. Participation in giving is an important benchmark at independent schools and helps Chase attract corporate/foundation grants. Also, major donors have indicated that broad-based support helps them determine their level of support to the School.

What is a Leadership Gift to the Annual Fund?

Leadership gifts to the Annual Fund begin at $1,000 and help Chase to thrive.  Each fall, a private reception is held to celebrate and recognize all leadership donors and volunteers. This event is held at Winvian in Morris, CT and is attended by over 150 members of the Chase community each year.

What difference does my gift make?

A donation of:

 $25 will supply enough distilled water for AP biology and chemistry

$50 will cover grass seed for an athletic field

$100 will provide a Middle School classroom with a DVD player

$200 will obtain the rights to perform a play

$500 will buy acrylic paints for Upper School art students

$1,000 will pay for a Lower School field trip

$2,000 pays a coach’s stipend

$2,500 covers the gap between tuition and the cost of educating a student

When do you need my gift?

The Annual Fund fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30 each year. Annual Fund donations are 100% tax-deductible. We ask donors to give as much as they feel comfortable giving toward this yearly effort.Thank you!
