I-84 East to Exit 41 (South Main St. West Hartford). A large highway sign (Amer. School for the Deaf) is located before the exit. Make a left turn at the end of the exit onto South Main Street. Continue 2.6 miles to the sixth traffic light at Farmington Avenue in West Hartford Center where South Main Street becomes North Main Street. Continue on North Main Street through the Farmington Avenue intersection; and through the next two traffic lights?the second will be at Fern Street. Continue straight on North Main Street and A.S.D. is large brick building on the left set back from the road.
