By offering two interscholastic tennis programs, each middle school student interested has an opportunity to play. The White team consists of players in grades 6-8 and play a full schedule against the local independent schools in the Waterbury/New Haven area.
Coached by middle school faculty member, Terri Hale, the squad the team continually learns and develops through the sport of tennis.
"It is my goal as coach to teach the rules and reinforce the basic fundamentals," says coach Hale. "Along with the skills we stress proper cooperation, coordination and physical fitness that comes with the sport."
