Margaret W. Field Award for Excellence in Teaching Presented to Mrs. Josie Doak and Ms. Andréa Carter

On June 8^th 2012, during the 144^th Commencement Exercises on the South Porch, two Chase teachers were presented with the Margaret W. Field for Excellence in Teaching. The first award for 5 years or less of service to the school was presented to Mrs. Josie Doak, Middle and Upper School English teacher and the second award for more than five years of service to Chase was presented to Ms. Andréa Carter, Lower, Middle, and  Upper School Visual Arts teacher for her 28 years in the Arts Department. Academic Dean Joseph Hadam praised both teachers for their dedication, patience, and positivity in the classroom. The Chase community offers a warm congratulations to both Mrs. Doak and Ms. Carter and eagerly awaits their continued successes as educators.
