Chase's very own rising sixth grader, Mia Matuschkowitz-Mannis, 10, of Woodbury, has qualified for CHSA 2012 Finals in Low Training Jumper and Children’s Equitation Medal on the pony, Juanita. Mia is a student of Deb Krawitz of Bouncing Pony Farm in Wolcott. At this time, she is second in the state for Low Training Jumpers and Children’s Equitation, and first in the state for Children’s Hunter Pony on her pony, Cinnamon. Mia’s sister, first grader Mae, age 5, will be showing in the Lead Rein Class on Cinnamon. The CHSA Finals are set for August 24 to 26 at the High Hopes Therapeutic Riding facility in Old Lyme.
