Students Show Smarts About Sentences With Skits
Posted 09/22/2017 11:18AM

Fourth and fifth grade students recently got together for a unique grammar class. In groups of four, the students worked to create a short skit that incorporated the four different sentence types: Declarative, Imperative, Exclamatory, and Interrogative. Students had a great time putting together their mini-shows and watching each other perform. Ideas and themes ranged from a Hogwarts-style Quidditch match to monsters in a cave, and from a trip to the mall to kids misbehaving on the playground. We've got quite a theatrical group!
