Soccer - Boys' Varsity vs. Hamden Hall Country Day School

Event Type: Regular

Date: October 17, 2011

Event Recap:

Chase took on a spirited hamden Hall team and despite outplaying them in the first twenty minutes of the game, we could not score and then yielded a soft goal on a corner kick play.  We then played well enough to score, but were never able to get the cross or corner kick that we needed to get on the score sheet.  The central midfield did a valiant job, with both Chris Leoni and Joe Bosco playing solid first halves.  Paul Malaspina did another fine job holding the line on defense and both Billy Robinson and Dan Harrington worked hard to get the ball to the offense.  It was a tough day for the offense, despite outshooting Hamden Hall, we still came away without a goal, losing finally 6-0.
