Chase Welcome New Camp Director
Posted 02/17/2016 02:34PM

It is with great excitement that we introduce Carrie Singer to Chase Collegiate School as the new Camp Director of @camp565.

Carrie comes to @camp565 with many years of experience in camp leadership.  She grew up attending Camp Ramah in the Berkshires and worked at Brooks Day Camp during her teenage years.  For the past three summers, Carrie was the Director of Staff Development & Training and Assistant Program Director at Camp Pembroke, an all-girls overnight camp in Massachusetts. Before that, Carrie was Assistant Director at Camp Laurelwood in Connecticut for two summers where she served in varied capacities including head counselor, office manager, staff recruitment, and staff training & development.  She holds degrees from Brandeis University and Hebrew College and has been an educator for well over 20 years.  Carrie lives in Connecticut with her husband Eugene and campers/daughters Michelle and Mia.

Carrie says “I am passionate about all things camp!  My focus and intent this summer is to help refresh the Day Camp at Chase Collegiate experience with exciting programs, exceptional staff, creative activities, and fun field trips. My success will be measured in camper smiles and memories made. I am looking forward to the beginning of the summer!”

Carrie will add a completely new and wonderful dimension to our summer program.  We are confident our campers are going to love her as much as we do, and can’t wait to see Carrie in her element @camp565 this summer. Registration will open March 1, 2016 on the Summer at Chase webpage.

For more information, contact Carrie at 203-236-9572 or summercamp@chasemail.org
