"Theatre takes a village, and set design (along with the tech, lights, sound, and the business side of theatre) allow for other opportunities for students to make their own personal contributions to the play. There's even a set design and construction component, where middle schoolers not interested in the front of the house roles like acting, singing, dancing, or music can explore their creative side by designing, building, and finishing with paint their own amazing set pieces to add excitement and pizzazz to the upcoming show!"
~ Andrea Carter & Brian Paturzo

"King Triton graciously requests your presence at his Royal Court to celebrate the artistry and hard work of the Chase Middle Schoolers."

Stephen Lyons

"Having the opportunity to direct The Little Mermaid Jr with the Middle School has been such a rewarding and fun experience! Each student has been working hard to contribute their talents to the production. It's such a pleasure to witness the cast and crew painting sets, designing lighting and costumes, and developing their characters as we approach opening night. You won't want to miss it!" ~ Kiel Stango

"The cast dove right in to singing the fun tunes that most recognized from the movie version of The Little Mermaid. From the rousing Caribbean sounds of "Under the Sea" to the beautiful melody of "Part of Your World", the music in this production is sure to please! The students are making each song their own and are having a wonderful time adding their own personalities to these beloved characters." ~ Marissa Famiglietti Apland

This classic Disney title contains all of the songs from the Academy Award® winning animated feature film as well as three new songs from the Broadway show. THE LITTLE MERMAID JR. takes place in a magical kingdom beneath the sea, where a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, the king of the sea, escape the clutches of an evil sea witch and convince a prince that she's the girl with the perfect voice.
